Known by its distinctive and

Cara is Italian for ‘beloved’
The Cara Cara originated from South America.
Believed to be a cross between the Washington navel and the Brazilian Bahia navel.
First discovered in 1976 at Hacienda Cara Cara in Venezuela.
Sweet taste with a relatively low acid content and virtually seedless.
Harvested May to June

Valencia oranges are small to medium sized.
Thin skin, sweet and delicate texture, with few seeds.

First discovered on the Azores Islands of Portugal.
Harvested August to October

First noticed at Addo in the Cape Province of South Africa in 1927.
In South Africa the Midknight produces fruit of excellent size good round shape and very smooth rind texture.
Exceptionally high juice percentage.
Virtually seedless
Thick skin, a bit harder to peel.
Harvested August to September
