  • The Cara Cara originated from South America.

  • Sweet taste with a relatively low acid content and virtually seedless.
  • Harvested May to June

Midknights

  • First noticed at Addo in the Cape Province of South Africa in 1927.
  • In South Africa the Midknight produces fruit of excellent size good round shape and very smooth rind texture.
  • Exceptionally high juice percentage.
  • Virtually seedless
  • Thick skin, a bit harder to peel.
  • Harvested August to September

Navels

One of the most popular eating orange and dessert fruits, bursting with sun-ripened flavour.

Features

  • Distinctive feature of having a small secondary fruit embedded in the apex of the primary fruit.
  • Seedless and fairly easy to peel
  • Sweet and juicy
  • Harvested April to August

Did you know?

  • The navel orange was discovered in 1820 in Bahia, Brazil, when a mutation occurred in a grove of sweet orange trees but is believed to have grown in Spain and Portugal for many years prior to this.
